As we navigated through the uncertainties of 2020, the CACFL continued to provide FREE services, support, and healing to more than 300 abused children and their families in a COVID-safe environment.

Funds raised through the One Too Many NY 5K will help provide:

  • Family advocacy
  • Forensic interviews
  • Mental health support for survivors & their families
  • Access to medical care
  • Comfort-care items (stuffed animals, weighted blankets, etc.)
  • Financial assistance for summer camps, dance lessons, karate lessons, art classes and more for survivors
  • Free child abuse prevention education to schools, camps and other community members

In 2020, New York state saw a significant rise in child deaths and severe cases of physical abuse.

The demand for services, training and assistance continues to grow.

We need your help, now more than ever.

Here's your chance to make a difference.

The Child Advocacy Center of the Finger Lakes is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The CACFL facilitates child abuse investigations through a team of community partners in a child-friendly environment, offering support and hope to children and their families. Since opening its doors in 2008, the CACFL has provided services to more than 2,800 children living in Ontario, Seneca and Yates counties.

The CACFL also provides a range of community and professional education resources and programs on topics such as child abuse prevention, online safety, parenting, and more.

One in 10 children will be abused before their 18th birthday. One child abused is One Too Many.

That's why I'm taking part in the second annual One Too Many NY 5K in support of the Child Advocacy Center of the Finger Lakes, as they work to end child abuse and provide children in crisis with free support, services and hope for the future.

Please help me raise critically needed funds to support the more than 300 children each year who come to the CACFL for services and support. Your support also helps fund child abuse prevention education and programs to help all children have safe and happy childhoods.

Please consider making a donation today. Together, we can make a difference.
